Kristina Hicks-Hamblin is a blogger, gardener, and freelance writer. She created her first blog in 2009. She writes and gardens in the high desert of Utah.

Kristina holds a Certificate in Native Plant Studies from the University of North Carolina Botanical Gardens, a Landscape for Life certificate through the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and the United States Botanic Garden, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is a Certified Permaculture Designer as well as a Square Foot Gardening Certified Instructor.

Through her writing, she enjoys helping others find ease and joy, particularly in their relationships with plants and animals.
